Ex d/Ex e cable glands made of steel

Durable metal glands are used when introducing cabling (including armored cables) into industrial machines and devices. They are comprehensively adapted to work in extreme environmental conditions. They can be used in explosion hazard zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. They have been designed in accordance with the PN-EN 60079-1 and PN-EN 60079-7 standards. The proposed metal glands are characterized by above-average durability and resistance to mechanical damage and UV radiation. They remain intact even during changing temperatures.

Ex-d and Ex-e glands are available, and the choice depends on the area of use. Only certified materials were used to make them, such as stainless steel, nickel-plated brass, anodized bronze, aluminum bronze. The degree of protection is IP66/IP68 -10 Bar.
The described glands are suitable for sealing cables from 4.5 mm to 104 mm. If you additionally use a pressure clamp, the resulting mounting will be stable and strong. This reduces the risk of accidentally tearing the cable out. Also available for sale are glands filled with resin, glands with an integrated clamp, plugs, and reductions.
