VENTILATION,
HEATING AND LIGHTING OF CABINETS

In control cabinets installed both indoors and outdoors, care should be taken to ensure an appropriate climate for the devices installed there. Electrical and electronic components should operate in a moisture-free atmosphere and within the appropriate temperature range.

In order to properly select the ventilation system, please specify the following parameters:

1. TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE
a) Maximum ambient temperature in °C
b) Desired indoor temperature in °C
2. INTERNAL POWER LOSSES in Watts

In order to properly select the heater power, please specify the following parameters:

1. HOUSING DIMENSIONS (width x height x depth, mm)
2. MATERIAL OF WHICH THE HOUSING IS MADE
3. INSTALLATION EXPOSURE (INDOOR, OUTDOOR)
4. CONSTANT POWER LOSS
5. CLIMATE
a) the lowest possible ambient temperature in °C
b) expected temperature inside the cabinet in °C

Ventilation of control cabinets

For cooling, fans or air conditioners for control cabinets should be used. Heating is carried out using heaters and fans with very different power levels, up to 1200 W. All these elements are controlled by thermostats and hygrostats, thanks to which there will always be the right climate in the wardrobe.

Control cabinets are ventilated using ventilation systems and fan heaters.

It is worth equipping control cabinets with devices supporting operation, such as special lamps (fluorescent or LED), door switches, pressure compensating elements, or drain plugs to drain condensate from the cabinet.
