Externally operated transformer stations

RDX-Z outdoor-operated transformer stations are, thanks to their small size, an excellent solution for housing estates, as well as in places that are difficult to access where heavy equipment cannot work.

RDX-Z-type transformer stations are adapted to be equipped with MV switchgear, LV switchgear and a transformer with a maximum output of 630 kVA.

RDX-Z transformer stations consist of two elements: a body and a roof and are available in the only size 2100x2900 mm.
The above-ground height of the housing is 1650 mm including the roof. Depending on the equipment used and the desired operating side, the enclosure is available in three versions.

Separate doors with ventilation grilles are provided for the operation of the individual station compartments to ensure cooling of the equipment and ventilation of the station room.

The oil sumps of the transformer compartments can accommodate 100 % of the oil content of the transformers.

Due to their small dimensions, RDX-Z type stations are transported to their destination ready for foundation in one piece.

In order to adapt the appearance of the station to the architectural requirements, it is possible to provide overlays in the form of two- or four-sided roofs covered with tile or ceramic roofing.
